About Walk for EPILEPSY – Greater Philadelphia

THE WALK for epilepsy - greater philadelphia RETURNS TO rose tree county PARK ON SATURDAY, JUly 12, 2025!

Mark your calendars, recruit your loved ones, form your walk teams, and pick out your best purple shirt for Saturday, July 12th! We are taking action to support our epilepsy community, celebrate the Epilepsy Warriors in our lives, and meet others experiencing similar challenges.

We cannot do it without you. Now is the time to raise critical funds and awareness to support the EFEPA's free programs, resources, and services. By participating in the Walk, you can be a pivotal part in the fight to end epilepsy and a powerful inspiration for others to join you.

We want to hear your story. Send your reason for joining the Walk for Epilepsy to the EFEPA’s Senior Media Manager, Zoe, at zheller@efepa.org to be featured on our social media channels. Plus, be sure to use the hashtag #WhyIWalk in your own posts.

Why Participate?

By participating in the Walk for Epilepsy - Greater Philadelphia, you are not only uniting with people across the nation, but igniting inspiration right in your own backyard!

The Walks are non-competitive, family-friendly, and open to the public. They are designed to be a celebration of the community while raising critical funds and awareness for the EFEPA and our local efforts.

The Walk for Epilepsy events are free to register with fundraising strongly encouraged. As always, all proceeds will immediately go towards the continuation and expansion of the free programs, resources, and support services provided right here in Greater Philadelphia.

We walk to build support circles so that no one feels alone in their diagnosis. We walk so kids can attend Camp Achieve.  We walk to raise awareness and build supportive, seizure-safe communities.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by epilepsy. Will you join us?
