Hello my name is Kimberly Granados. My Son  is Jacob Rodriguez. I am a single Mother of five children. My son Jacob is 7 years old. At the age of two he started with febrile Seizures. Once he turned 5 he was then diagnosed with chronic epilepsy. He is constantly missing school due to his epilepsy. My son cannot participate in gym, recess or be active in sports due to his Seizures. He has difficulty walking for short periods. Once his body temperature reaches a certain level due to any activity he goes into a seizure. This is affecting  his learning and academics. He falls asleep constantly due to being on 3 different sciezure medications, which is affecting his behavior as well. He was unable to attend school for months due to his condition. Jacob is a loving child but very sensitive who loves playing with his siblings. He loves to play, read books play Roblox and loves his stuffed animals. He’s just trying to be a normal child like everyone else. We appreciate family and friends who have spent hours with jacob in the hospital and have cared for jacob in anyway possible we love you all.
