About the Cause

The mission of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation is to find cures for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life for children and adults affected by these chronic diseases through research, awareness, education and advocacy. 1 in 100 Americans currently are afflicted by these diseases for which there is currently no cure.

For over 50 years the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation has supported critical research, investing almost $385 million toward finding cures and better treatment options. We are proud to recognize that the Foundation has been involved in every major breakthrough in IBD research.

How Your Support Makes a Difference

By supporting the Foundation, you are supporting more than 130,000 chronically ill patients living in New England as well as dedicated scientists and medical professionals who are advancing research in IBD. The New England Chapter raises over $3.3 million locally to support these efforts. The Fete is a critical component of the chapter's success, raising over 40% of our annual revenue.

Our local events and programs unite the IBD community, creating meaningful resources for patients, caregivers and medical professionals throughout Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island and Vermont.
