As a gastroenterologist and academic researcher, I have devoted my professional career to the management of patients with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. I am incredibly grateful and humbled to be honored with the “Humanitarian of the Year” award.
Hello friends, family, and supporters of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation –
It is my privilege to be selected as the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s 2022 Humanitarian of the Year at this year’s Fete for Crohn’s & Colitis. I will be honored alongside Jeffrey Mittleman who will be named the Person of the Year. The Fete will take place at the InterContinental in Boston on Saturday, November 5 at 6:30pm. It will be an unforgettable evening. Every dollar we raise impacts the lives of those living with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis.
The Fete is the New England Chapter's largest fundraising event, raising over $1 million to fund critical research, education, and support programs for the 3.1+ million Americans living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. There are currently over 130,000 patients in the New England area diagnosed with IBD.
The Foundation has been part of every major breakthrough in Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis research, and last year alone, funded $32 million to find cures and better treatments for these diseases.
All donations will include a name listing or message in the evening’s Book of Hope. Donations above $2,500 include tickets to the in-person event. A Foundation staff member will be in touch to coordinate your message and/or tickets once you make a donation.
To view the donation levels, click the “Donate” button. To purchase individual tickets, click “Purchase Tickets.”
Every dollar we raise is deeply appreciated.
Thank you,
