Foundation Give Day Donations Support Our Make It a Million Scholarship Campaign
Dietetic Students and Interns Need Our Help, Now More than Ever!
Check out these stats:
- The number of scholarship applications our Academy Foundation now receives outweighs the scholarships we can award by three to one.
- In 2023, more than 700 deserving students who applied for a scholarship were unable to receive one based on available funds.
- Nearly 40% (38.6%) of 2024 Foundation scholarship applicants expressed their intention to professionally serve underprivileged and marginalized communities.
To meet this increasing demand for scholarships, in 2022 our Academy Foundation launched our Make It a Million Scholarship Campaign to raise $1M dollars by 2025. The goal of this campaign is to enable our Foundation to award $1M in scholarships each year in perpetuity.
All gifts made on Foundation Give Day support the Make It a Million Scholarship Campaign and will help build the next generation of food and nutrition professionals.
