Mission: Gennesaret Free Clinics provides quality, accessible, and compassionate patient-centered healthcare for persons experiencing homelessness or lacking established healthcare. Seeking to serve, Gennesaret Free Clinics is a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, staff, and volunteers who treat all persons with dignity and respect.
Gennesaret’s main services include: 4 stationary medical clinics; 1 mobile medical clinic with 8 partner sites; 1 dental clinic; 3 health recovery homes for men and women experiencing homelessness; a bilingual telehealth program; and women’s health services, including wellness exams, screenings, and diagnostics for breast and cervical cancer.
Since 1988, GFC has annually served thousands of the most vulnerable individuals in the Indianapolis community, including individuals experiencing homelessness, without health insurance or are medically underinsured, and/or individuals with mental and/or behavioral health disorders. Unfortunately, due to racial health disparities, patients who identify as BIPOC and/or Latino are disproportionately represented in Gennesaret’s patient population (more than 70%).
We're thrilled to announce that we have officially hit our goal of $100,000 raised for #GFCHitTheStreets, in loving memory of former Gennesaret volunteer, Dr. Joe Baele!
Additionally, we are excited to announce an additional partner site at the Julia M. Carson Transit Center in partnership with IndyGo! To kick off this partnership, another wonderful friend of Gennesaret has raised the bar, donating a $25,000 match gift, raising our goal to $150,000 to help us continue Dr. Baele's legacy and help more Indianapolis community members access healthcare!
Can you help reach our goal of $150,000 to provide 10 FULL MONTHS of mobile medical clinic operations?
Together, with our volunteers, donors, staff, and the community, we are now raising $150,000 to provide 10 full months of mobile medical clinic operations. This will bring critical healthcare access to hundreds of our most vulnerable community members.
In response to critical community need, Gennesaret Free Clinics has expanded our mobile medical clinic program, going out into the community 3-4 days each week at 5 partner sites (with 3 more on the way)! We’re meeting our most vulnerable community members where they are to help access healthcare free of charge.
Helping is easy!
