Have you ever considered how you would feel if you lost your hearing? The anxiety, loneliness, and isolation you may experience as you desperately tried to learn to interact with a world that has suddenly gone silent to you. Unfortunately, this very scenario is played out every year by millions of Americans.
The funds raised by CELEBRATE SOUND® support local programs chosen by the event host, along with national grants and scholarships provided by Sertoma, Inc. or the national Hearing Aid Project. Each of these beneficiaries strive to help improve the quality of life today for those at risk or impacted by hearing loss and make tomorrow about hearing a child’s laugh or a softly whispered "I love you."
Hearing is important
Hearing is more important than you think. I've had hearing loss for over 10 years and if I wasn't able to purchase hearing aids to help me I wouldn't be able to enjoy my daily activities like I am able to today.
It is my personal ambition to help all those with hearing loss, who are unable to afford hearing aids, get the help they need.
