Registration closes at 3:21pm TODAY! On-Site Registration will be opening at 8:00am on race day.
Already registered? Pre-Packet pickup will take place Friday from 11:00am - 2:00pm at the Hoffman Estates Playhouse.
GiGi’s Playhouse will host the 2019 Chicagoland 5k run, 1-mile walk and Dash for Down syndrome on Sunday, June 9, 2019. We are so excited for our NEW LOCATION at the Arlington International Racecourse.
This family event is one you don’t want to miss. This event is designed for the entire family and where people of all ages and abilities are encouraged to participant. We will be having fun activities for all to enjoy.
The event is truly a celebration of our courageous individuals making every step count and ask that you consider supporting this family-fun event as a participant, donor, or sponsor. We anticipate more than 2,000 participants with supporters coming from our Deerfield and Hoffman Estates Playhouses!

GiGi’s Playhouse Down Syndrome Achievement Center’s mission is to change the way the world views Down syndrome through national campaigns, educational programs, and by empowering individuals with Down syndrome, their families and the community. We offer free therapeutic and educational programming to individuals with Down syndrome and their families.

With our free therapeutic and educational programs and our Generation G Campaign for global acceptance, we EMPOWER families by maximizing opportunities for daily achievement and lasting acceptance. To ensure lasting acceptance, we must show the world what individuals with Down syndrome are truly capable of achieving as students, co-workers, volunteers, friends, and valued members of their communities. Our program outcomes help advance this vital social impact goal.
All proceeds from the Chicago Region GiGi’s Playhouse 5K will benefit the National Office and the Deerfield Playhouse.
