Momma Mia, here we go again! Join us as we Shake it Off on the dance floor at DePaul College Prep on Saturday, October 26th for our 5th Annual Get Down With Down Syndrome Dance-A-Thon.
This family friendly afternoon event will be rockin’ with a fabulous DJ, awesome music, fun games, great raffle items, a photo booth, and more! Dust off those dancing shoes and grab your friends and family. Let’s pack the gym and have some fun while raising awareness.
#BREAKING NEWS! Anayeli Ruiz from NBC 5 Chicago and Telemundo will be our guest of honor and emcee the event! Anayeli first visited our playhouse in 2018 to show how GiGi's was making a difference in the community with our amazing Art Explosion program. We are thrilled and honored to have Anayeli at our dance-a-thon. Bring your best dance moves, we hear she loves to dance too!
This is the way it works: Once you sign up, you ask people to join your team, donate, or sponsor you while you Get Down For Down Syndrome. It can be friends, family, co-workers, etc. Post it on your social media channels. Plenty of resources are available to you under the "Get Involved" section of this site.
Be sure to register by October 11th to guarantee your t-shirt!
Your generous donations will fund new programs and existing programs like Cooking Club, Amina Grace One-on-One Speech Therapy, Literacy and Math Tutoring, Dance and more!
