About Liberty Giving Thanks 5K

This year's Liberty Giving Thanks 5K is going virtual! 

The event will be held Sunday, November 22nd through Saturday, November 28th.

Registration opens Friday, October 16th

Participant registrations completed on or before October 31st will be entered to win $150 in Nike gift cards, courtesy of WholeStack Solutions.

We are bringing this year’s Liberty Giving Thanks 5K to you!

Your health and safety are our top priority. This year’s event will not be a large in-person gathering; instead, we invite you to get active in small teams of friends and family, all while supporting the families at Hillcrest Hope.

Activity with a Lasting Impact

The world may look a little different right now, but the mission of Hillcrest Hope remains the same: Empowering the homeless and working-poor to achieve personal independence, through transitional housing, education, accountability and community support. 

When you participate in the Liberty Giving Thanks 5K, the funds you raise provide essential resources to homeless and working-poor individuals and families committed to bettering their situations and creating a future of stability and financial independence.

How to get started

Step One: Registration (select your registration option)

Participant

            Cost: $25

            Includes: Event soft-tee  

           (Shirts will be available for pick-up or shipping beginning December 1st)

Fundraiser

            Cost: $0

            Fundraisers who raise at least $100 will earn an event soft tee 

            (Shirts will be available for pick-up or shipping beginning December 1st)

Step Two: Customize your fundraising page

The registration process will guide you through setting up your own personalized fundraising page. Regardless of if you sign up as a participant or as a fundraiser, we hope you will take the time to complete this step and help raise funds and awareness for Hillcrest Hope.

Step Three: Spread the Word

You have registered for the event. Your fundraising page is all set up. Now its time to spread the word! The great thing about a virtual event is you can invite friends and family from anywhere to join in the fun or just help you reach your fundraising goal.

Step Four: Run, Walk, or Pedal with impact

Join us during the week of November 22nd – 28th and complete your virtual event. Be sure to take pictures and share them to your fundraising page. You can also use #hillcresthope5K and share your adventure on social media. Whatever activity you choose to do, be safe and have fun!
