Glow for Hope

About Glow for Hope 2025

Glow for Hope is an exciting community event that will take place on Friday, April 25th 5:30-8:30 pm.

Glow For Hope is a 1-mile fun run or walk with lots of glow-in-the-dark fun. Dinner, dancing, prizes, and lots of fun will be had as a community. It will take place at New Hope Academy on our nature trail and outside.

New Hope Academy is a Pre-K-6th grade school offering a Christ-centered education. This is for everyone regardless of economic, racial, or cultural background. 65% of our students receive some level of financial aid. This means we rely on the generosity of the community each year to provide $1,670,000 in gifts to cover the cost of running the school beyond what tuition provides. Through the Glow for Hope campaign, our goal is to raise $500 per student (with an overall goal of $75,000.) Each student who raises $500 will receive a Tangie Cake and more prizes will be awarded in other categories.

Why Participate?

New Hope has five core values; Christ-centered, Formative Learning, Personhood of Each Child, Equitable Access, and Connected Community. Glow for Hope is an amazing opportunity for the students to work together to share their love for not only their school, but also their friends and classmates. This process helps them develop their communication skills in a fun and experiential way. They get to be a part of ushering in equitable access. This culminates in a fun evening where we engage in connected community and celebrate their efforts in supporting the mission of New Hope.

How Your Support Makes a Difference

Through your generous gift we are able to provide scholarships for students and families who otherwise could not afford to attend New Hope.  Equitable Christ-centered education instills vision and confirms hope for all students. We seek to be a catalyst for change in the cycle of poverty by removing financial and social barriers for the underserved in our community. We reserve 40-50% of enrollment for students who live below or near the poverty line. We are grateful for the life-changing impact your gift makes in the lives of our students.

Thank you for your support!
