Dear Friends and Family,

This November, I am proud to share that I will be running the TCS New York City Marathon in support of Team IMPACT.

For those of you who may not be familiar with Team IMPACT, they are an incredible organization that matches children facing serious illness or disability with college athletic teams. These relationships give children the chance to be part of a team, build lifelong friendships, and create memories that last well beyond the game. The impact goes both ways, leave a lasting impact on the student athletes, reminding them of the power of resilience, friendship, and community.

As many of you know, I lost my father, Kevin Giblin, "The Gibber," on April 3, 2017, after his battle with pancreatic cancer. His diagnosis and the months that followed were heartbreaking for me and my family. As we approach the 10 year anniversary of his passing, I find myself reflecting on the incredible person he was, the lessons he taught me, and how fortunate I was to call him my dad.

I am running in honor and memory of my best friend and my dad. He taught me the importance of showing up for others, giving back whenever you can, and never taking time with the people you love for granted. I know he would have loved what Team IMPACT stands for because it gives children and families something every person deserves: hope, friendship, and the chance to simply be a kid.

Training for and running this marathon will be a true challenge, but helping raise critical funding and awareness for Team IMPACT makes every mile worth it. My hope is that together we can help create more life changing experiences for these incredible children, their families, and the student athletes whose lives are changed right alongside them.

Please consider joining me in honoring my dad's memory by making a gift today. Your generosity will help Team IMPACT continue creating moments that families will never forget.

Thank you for your friendship, your encouragement, and your support. It means more to me than you know.
