Guilty Party, one of Winston-Salem's leading cover bands, will be holding a concert to benefit ALS awareness on Saturday, August 29th, at Foothills Tasting Room in Winston-Salem.
The Concert is Free, but donations are accepted in honor of Dr. Mark Stallworth and go towards fighting and raising awareness for ALS throughout North Carolina.

Good to know: The Concert is Free, but donations are accepted in honor of Dr. Mark Stallworth and go towards fighting and raising awareness for ALS throughout North Carolina. There is limited seating, so bring camp chairs.
About the Band:
The Guilty Party Band is a loosely regulated alliance of physicians, ministers, bankers, voice teachers, water quality managers, and other otherwise respectable citizens who apparently concluded that adulthood required a horn section and a louder PA system.
By day, they diagnose illnesses, save souls, balance spreadsheets, improve vocal technique, and make sure you aren't drinking anything that glows in the dark. By night, they turn their attention to matters of equal importance: Fleetwood Mac harmonies, Santana grooves, Rolling Stones swagger, Grateful Dead detours, and determining whether a Weezer song really belongs next to Dusty Springfield. (The answer is usually, “Why not?”)
Their set list wanders cheerfully through musical decades with the confidence of people accustomed to giving advice for a living. One minute it's Linda Ronstadt, Marc Cohn, Bonnie Raitt, or Buffalo Springfield. The next it's Amy Winehouse, The Monkees, Grand Funk, NRBQ, Jimmy Buffett, King Harvest, or something else that seemed like a good idea at rehearsal. Somehow, it works.
Along the way, a punchy horn section appears exactly when needed—adding color, energy, and just enough joyful excess to convince everyone that restraint is overrated.
As for the name, despite extensive investigations, The Guilty Party Band has been found guilty of only one thing: Having A Good Time. The evidence includes packed dance floors, enthusiastic singalongs, and a complete disregard for dignified exits. The case remains gloriously unresolved
