About Harrisburg Family Fun Run / Walk for Epilepsy

Celebrate the 18th annual Senators Family Fun Run/Walk for Epilepsy Virtually on 

Saturday, August 1st.

​We will have a Facebook live stream event at 9:30 am. 

​All participants that raise $30.00 will receive a commemorative T-shirt. Additional prizes are awarded to each participant based on the amount of funds that they raise. Grand prizes are awarded the top 3 highest fund raising Individuals and Teams.  

All of the proceeds from this event will stay in western and central Pennsylvania to benefit our programs and supportive services. The EAWCP is dedicated to providing information, education, advocacy, programs and support services for people living with epilepsy and their families, friends and colleagues. These programs include weekend and summer camps, support groups, emergency medication assistance, educational conferences and workshops, respite care services, seizure response dogs, college scholarships, and seizure recognition and first aid training. We have also made many of our programs and services virtual.

One in 26 people will develop epilepsy in their lifetime, and one in 10 will have a seizure.  Please join us in supporting the ones that we know and love who have epilepsy/seizure disorder.

How Your Support Makes a Difference

The Epilepsy Association of Western and Central PA receives  30 - 50 % of our operating budget from contributions and special events.  We need your help to continue to be a voice for epilepsy awareness and education. All of the proceeds raised at this event will stay here to support local programs and supportive services.
