Hello! My sincere, deep wishes that life has been beautiful for you all this past year. I'm taking a breath to offer gratitude for the wonderful people in my life. Without my people, I would feel lost—I'm grateful for their loving, listening, and thoughtfulness. As I hit pause on my own brain and look up, it struck me just how challenging and isolating it can be for those who do not have a support system.

I know we are faced with inflation, life increases, and so many demands on our time and money, but I am dedicated to reaching out to raise support for those who don't have a network. This year's Hot Chocolate Run to support Safe Passage reflects that dedication to building a support cushion for those who need it. Safe Passage provides safety, hope, and healing to adults and children experiencing domestic violence in Hampshire County and surrounding towns. Would you consider a gift to Safe Passage to help become a part of a larger, more compassionate support system in our community?

I’ll be running(ish) on December 4th this year in Northampton in the Annual Hot Chocolate Run. This year I'm captaining a team of over 50 lovable folks from Pioneer Valley Books (and an amazing amount of their friends, partners, and families who are so sweet and loving to support their people) and I can't wait to hype everyone up. (If anyone wants to greet my out-of-breath face as I cross the line with a high five or a promise to go out for a hot breakfast, I wouldn't turn that down, either!)
