You can change someone’s life. You might even save a life.

Our small but mighty team does other charity runs, but the Hot Chocolate Run was our first and is our #1 every year. We are committed by spreading awareness and supporting those who need it. Will you help us make a difference?

The team captains started running/walking together back in 2016, our Purple Mug Year, and never looked back.

"We fell in love with how Safe Passage put on an event that not only brought the community together, but helped raise awareness as well as help those in need. in 2017 it was just the 2 of us and we were so excited to get our Red hats which signified that each of them were a fundraisers of hope. In 2018 we wanted to share this magical event with others and started to grow the team, with an attitude of lets share awareness and try to help others who may not know that there is hope.  The team has gone up and down with who joins us, but we have now a steady group of 4 wonderful people each year (Alexandra, Kai, Alexis, and Myself). The Semi Sweet Savages could not be more thankful to those who donate, share, and help."  ~ Bryanna, Co-Captain

"I'm so encouraged every year by the response we get from our community - it really shows the strength and compassion of the valley. Around 1 in 4 people experience domestic violence, and the Hot Chocolate Run brings that to light, supports Safe Passage in their work, and helps us be there for each other. Domestic violence can fly under the radar, but no one should feel ashamed or scared of being a victim. This event has really brought our team together! Everyone works really hard throughout fundraising and the run itself. We have have a lot of fun and we stand together against violence." - Alexandra, Co-Captain
