What started as a canned food drive organized while playing for the Shoreline Sharks has expanded over the past six years to become the hockey community's service project to fight hunger.
Last year the food drive went virtual due to COVID and was a HUGE success. We raised $6,284 for Connecticut Foodshare from contributions from 80 donors across the state representing hockey clubs, boarding/high school teams, collegiate players, and a charitable organization focused on helping kids. We are humbled by the response and proud of our collective impact!
Our 2022 goal is to raise even more money! We ask our friends, families, and fellow hockey players to unite for this great cause and take a bite out of hunger!
Make a donation of any size to help us provide meals for those in need.
