Southern Alberta Hope for a Cure Run/Walk supporting The Huntington Society of Canada

The Huntington Society of Canada's Southern Alberta Chapter is hosting its 17th Annual Hope for a Cure Run & Walk in Calgary. Come celebrate with volunteers, walkers, runners, and cheerleaders! Celebrate this year's theme, From Neon to Now, by dressing in your finest 80s attire! We will highlight how we have advanced over the last four decades through this event with an 80s theme!
The beautiful Bowness Park will host our event, complete with a large playground, family-friendly games and activities, and a raffle (debit/credit available on-site)! Bring your family and friends or join us virtually!
This year, the Online Silent Auction will be posted on Monday, June 2nd and close on Thursday, June 5th. All items will be ready for pickup at the event with proof of payment. All attendees will be able to enjoy the event without having to keep an eye on their bids! Stay tuned for more details!

The Huntington Society of Canada (HSC) strives for a better future for those affected by Huntington disease (HD). There are three main areas that HSC focuses on:
1. Funding cutting edge research into slowing or stopping the progression of HD
2. Funding Family Services workers across Canada to provide support for those affected by HD
3. Raising awareness of HD, educating the public and health services professionals, as well as advocating for the rights of those affected by HD
