A Night in the Cold 2021

This will be my second year participating in Homeless Solutions’ A Night in the Cold to raise crucial funds and awareness for the homeless families and individuals in my community.

I will be braving the elements (expected 27dF low) by sleeping outside for one night on December 4th in hopes of beating my total last year and raising more than $3,400 for my personal fundraising campaign.

We all deserve the basic needs of shelter and warmth during these colder months. By supporting A Night in the Cold, you are supporting the hundreds of homeless in my community and letting them know they are not alone.

Sarah and I plan to sleep on our deck again.  Last year I slept in a sleeping bag but with just a thin layer of cardboard as my 'mat'.  While I have slept many nights in a tent it was definitely different to be outside in the bitter cold, wind, and even the moonlight and noises are a bit different when not in a tent!  This years expected forecast for 12/4/2021 includes a low of 27dF!  It is going to be a cold one for sure.
