About the Walk to Save Lives Indianapolis

Join Indiana Donor Network Foundation as we celebrate life, honor organ, tissue and eye donors, and support those waiting for a lifesaving transplant. Create a team or sign up as an individual to walk along the downtown Indianapolis canal. This family-friendly event will highlight donor and transplant recipient stories and provide space for attendees to reflect on the gift of life. The event will also feature booths by local businesses and organizations, music, food, drinks and more!

The event raises funds for Indiana Donor Network Foundation, with all proceeds supporting transplant recipients and the families of donor heroes.

Day of registration will be available onsite at 9 am. Adult registration is $30 and child registration is $12.

About the Garden of Hope

At the Walk to Save Lives Indianapolis, attendees are greeted by the Garden of Hope, which serves as a focal point for the event.

By purchasing a personalized sign for placement in the Garden of Hope, you can help us honor and thank donor heroes while also raising money for Indiana Donor Network Foundation and increasing awareness of the importance of donation.

If you are an organ, tissue or cornea recipient, you can express your appreciation for the lifesaving gift you received. If you are a family member or friend of a donor hero, you can use a sign to honor your loved one for giving hope and healing to others through donation.

Your sign will feature a picture of you or your loved one along with your special message. It will be displayed on October 8 in the Garden of Hope, located in the grassy knoll outside of Fairbanks Hall.

The cost to purchase a sign in the Garden of Hope is $50. For those attending the event, you may add other decorative items to your sign on the day of the event, then take your sign home with you when the event concludes.
