Inspire Atlanta 2024

Success isn't just about what you accomplish in life, it's about what you inspire others to do!

I am so honored to be a part of the Atlanta Women’s Foundation’s (AWF) Inspire Atlanta class of 2024. I am here to raise funds that will make a real, lasting difference in the lives of women and girls and spread awareness of the barriers women in poverty face in getting support and access to resources. While I don’t have daughters, I am a mom of two boys and am passionate about leading by example and raising them to be kind, respectful and empowered adults, and advocates.  

In Metro-Atlanta, 320,000 women and girls wake up in poverty every single day – this includes nearly 80,000 girls. As the only public foundation in Georgia solely dedicated to women and girls, AWF is well positioned to address social problems that affect this group in unique ways—biologically, psychologically, and economically. You may also be shocked (as I was) to learn that only 2% of foundation funding in the United States goes to organizations serving women and girls, making AWF’s mission even more critical.

AWF has made an incredible impact on the Atlanta community since it was founded in 1998, investing more than $27 million into the community through strategic grant making and programs that support mental and physical health, education and life skills.
