As an Inspire Atlanta participant, I am excited to join the fundraising efforts of my 2024 cohort to make a difference in the lives of women and girls in our community.
The Atlanta Women's Foundation (AWF) plays an essential role in helping more women and girls to live safe, economically self-sufficient lives. As a catalyst for change in the lives of women and girls, AWF raises funds for grantmaking through their collective impact model that amplifies the work of strategic nonprofits serving the metro Atlanta area.
Inspire Atlanta fundraising will benefit AWF’s current priority grantmaking project, All Girls Forward: Girls Empowerment Program. Over the next five years, All Girls Forward will provide funding for a critical combination of services needed to ensure Atlanta's girls experiencing poverty can be on a level playing field with their peers. Services such as mental health sessions, physical health activities, supplemental educational activities (including STEM), college readiness support, mentoring, and financial literacy programming.
I am honored to be a part of raising funds for All Girls Forward and to help continue AWF’s work with women. – I hope you’ll join me!
Global Village Project Visit
Global Village-celebrating 15 years of impact! Grantee tour hear about the amazing work by Global Village. It was eye opening to see and hear about the joy, experiences, challenges and accomplishments for things that we simply take for granted. Incredible work and stories to cherish from the tour!
