Success isn't just about what you accomplish in your life; it's about what you inspire others to do!

As an Inspire Atlanta participant, I am honored to join the fundraising efforts of the 2026 cohort to make a meaningful difference in the lives of women and girls in our community. This mission is personal for me.

When my second daughter was born with Cerebral Palsy, my world changed overnight. I suddenly found myself navigating a complex system of therapies, specialists, and resources—with no roadmap. I remember what it felt like to have a real, urgent need but no clear access to the information or support my family required. It was isolating, overwhelming, and eye-opening.

That experience revealed something bigger: so many women and caregivers in our community are facing similar challenges—often with far fewer resources and even less support. If I struggled to find help, I can only imagine how much harder it is for women experiencing financial hardship, instability, or systemic barriers.

This is why I believe so deeply in the work of the Atlanta Women’s Foundation (AWF).

AWF plays an essential role in helping women and girls in metro Atlanta live safe, economically self-sufficient lives. As a catalyst for change, AWF raises and invests funds through a research-driven, collective-impact model that amplifies the work of trusted nonprofit partners serving women and girls across our city.

As a funder, educator, and connector, AWF:

  • Funds proven nonprofit organizations addressing the root causes of poverty and instability

  • Educates the community through research, learning experiences, and shared insights

  • Connects donors, nonprofits, and community leaders to expand impact and collaboration

Your Inspire Atlanta donation fuels AWF’s strategic grantmaking—supporting women and girls experiencing economic hardship right here in metro Atlanta.

AWF’s research shows that economic stress is a primary driver of instability, affecting mental health, educational outcomes, and long-term opportunity. Inspire Atlanta helps address these interconnected challenges through three key areas of impact:

All Girls Forward: Girls Empowerment

Providing girls experiencing poverty with education, mentoring, socio-emotional support, life skills, and college and career readiness—so they can thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.

Mental Health & Well-Being

Expanding mental-health informed support by addressing root causes of stress—such as housing instability, food insecurity, and economic hardship—so women and girls can heal, build resilience, and move forward.

Two-Generation & Family Stability

Supporting women and caregivers while improving outcomes for their children—recognizing that when families are stable, both generations succeed.

My journey as a mother taught me what it feels like to search for help in a moment of deep vulnerability. AWF ensures that more women don’t have to face those moments alone. When you give through AWF, your support goes further—creating stronger families, healthier communities, and lasting opportunities for women and girls.

Thank you for supporting this mission, and for standing with the women and girls of Atlanta. Your gift is more than a donation—it’s a message:

You are not alone, and you deserve support.
