NEW DATE - SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26 AT 11 A.M.

It's a very special birthday party and you’re invited!  With so many children not being able to have a regular birthday party due to COVID-19, Magee wanted to do something special for them.

The event is hosted by our world-renowned IVF doctors at Magee, who worked tirelessly to assist families struggling with fertility issues.

We had to postpone our original August 29th date and we are excited to announce our new date of Saturday, September 26 at 11 a.m.  This event is open to all.  We hope you will join us in celebrating over 35 years in bringing joy to so many families for a Zoom party with Winter the Dolphin, star of the "Dolphin Tale" movies.  Celebrate with Winter and Friends and learn more about her heartfelt and inspiring story from her Animal Care team live from the brand new "Winter Zone" habitat at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium in Clearwater, FL.  You will have an opportunity to visit with Winter and several of her rescued dolphin friends.  The team will discuss how the dolphins came to be rescued, how they are cared for, and share some of their fun tricks!

Winter is a female Atlantic bottlenose dolphin who was rescued in 2005 by Clearwater Marine Aquarium team members after being found caught in a crab trap.  She lost her tail due to her injuries.  With the help of prosthetic geniuses, they constructed a prosthetic tail to help Winter survive.  Not being able to return to the ocean, Winter's story has inspired millions of people all over the world. You'll be greeted by our IVF team, visit with Winter, ask questions, and say hi to rescued dolphins.

This family-friendly event is open to everyone.  We hope that you and your children will join us as we meet Winter and celebrate the life-changing work of our IVF team!

Your registration and donation of $25 or more per household will help support the IVF program at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital.  Celebrating over 35 years of IVF babies!

We will email a link to the ZOOM webcast closer to the date.  Please make sure your email address is correct.
