JeffHOPE supporting Jefferson

To help people experiencing housing instability or poverty in Philadelphia!
Welcome to my JeffHOPE fundraising page!
As you may know, this past year I started medical school at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, and began volunteering at JeffHOPE.
For those who don't know, JeffHOPE is a group of student-run free clinics offering healthcare and social services to individuals experiencing housing instability, homelessness, or poverty in Philadelphia. We are the largest student-run free clinic in the country!
Every Tuesday, I meet up with my team of 12 other medical students and travel to Philly House (formerly Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission), an acute care men's shelter and the largest shelter in Philadelphia, where we set up clinic on site. My specific role as a patient advocate is to connect patients with providers and services outside of the clinic. I work with my clinic to address access to health care and social services to the patient population who needs it the most!
On February 10th, 2023, we are hosting our annual charity ball, bringing together members of the Jefferson community to support JeffHOPE. The donations raised through the ball provide us with the resources to fund our 5 clinics for a whole year. These funds allow us to purchase medical supplies, medications, toiletries, as well as blankets/hats/scarves, which are crucial during the winter.
If you feel moved to help fund JeffHOPE's initiatives, I would be so grateful for your support. A small contribution of even $20 would help me reach my fundraising goal of $500 and continue supporting the patients of Philly House.
How do I donate?
You will be asked to sign up for a “company” when signing up to donate. Please write [Will Brincheiro] under company so I can track my fundraising goal.
Thank you so much for your contribution, and for supporting our work towards increasing access to healthcare in Philadelphia. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out!
Sincerely,
Will Brincheiro
