As many of you know, this past year I began my journey in medical school at Thomas Jefferson University. JeffHOPE is a student-run organization here at Jefferson that provides free healthcare and social services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Philadelphia at five clinics across the city, open five days a week.

Every Thursday , I meet up with my team of 10 medical students to travel to Our Brother's Place where we set up a medical clinic on site. Through our work, we aim to increase access to health care and social services to our patients experiencing homelessness. In addition, this experience has provided me the ability to develop and strengthen skills that cannot be taught in a classroom.

On January 25th, 2024, we are hosting our annual charity ball, bringing together members of the Jefferson community to support JeffHOPE. The donations raised through the ball provide us with the resources to fund our 5 clinics for a whole year. These funds allow us to purchase medical supplies, medications, toiletries, as well as blankets/hats/scarves, which are crucial during the winter.

Thank you for your support!
