Take A Walk On The Wild Side!
Come join the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) Foundation for our first annual walk! Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the picturesque LA Zoo—covering 2.2 miles—all before it opens to the public. Participants of all ages will visit the park’s most beloved animals, learning about the wonders of nature as they witness these majestic creatures in their natural habitats.
The morning concludes with a family-friendly expo featuring fire trucks, firefighting equipment, and an array of fire safety activities. Children and families can explore our impressive vehicles up close, and they’ll learn about the vital role these tools play in the safety of their communities.
