"I wanted to express how grateful I feel for the past 2 years that my boys attended FAP. I knew my kids were safe and very well taken care of everyday. I have seen so much improvement in them in many aspects. Also I have received many compliments of my son from his kindergarten teacher, and I must admit he learned everything at FAP." - Johanna

"My case manager helped me a lot. I started getting my grades up, going to school more. I'll always be grateful for this program because if it wasn't for this, I wouldn't have had the mentorship and guidance that I needed." - Mariana
Our Career and Financial Advancement Center helps hundreds of individuals each month with financial literacy, career services, income supports and more. Together without community members, this program ensures that local families earn a livable income and build generational wealth within the community.
“I just wanted to say thank you so much for helping me when no one else did. I really appreciate all your time and your thorough explanation on what I can do, the budget plan, how to help myself pay my rent on time. It’s much appreciated and thank you from the heart for all your help.” - Shannon
Small businesses are the heart of the Logan Heights community. Our Small Business Development Program provides regular workshops, resource fairs, and one-on-one coaching to help current and aspiring business owners grow a sustainable enterprise and contribute to our vibrant commercial corridor.
“I had the opportunity to enroll in the Logan Heights CDC Emergent Entrepreneurship Program. What I learned is the importance of accounting and marketing. I will implement everything I learned in the workshop little by little as my business grows. Thank you very much to everyone who makes this program possible for small businesses.” - Mathiarira
