We are a group of clinicians and professionals who happen to be parents with strong support for children.
This September, help build a chain of 8,000 colourful links to show your support for young patients, families and survivors of childhood cancer.
Paper chains will be displayed in hospitals with specialized childhood cancer programs, POGO Satellite Clinics and in communities across Ontario. Chains displayed in the hospitals will be assembled by survivors, patients and staff at the hospital.
Funds raised through LINKED for Life will provide financial assistance to families so they can pay for out-of-pocket costs associated with their child’s treatment; support survivors with customized academic and employment counselling when their disease or its treatment has left them with learning challenges; and fund promising research that examines the impact of childhood cancer and its treatment.
