Louie’s Last Regatta – Frequently Asked Questions

Whats new this year?

We are thrilled to see Louie’s Last Regatta grow and make an even bigger impact for the kids of Wisconsin. Due to the event’s incredible popularity, this year we are moving our post-race celebration to a new location at the South Shore Yacht Club. There, a larger and dedicated event space will help build community spirit for all participants. We are also continuing our long-standing partnership with the Milwaukee Brewing Company – they will be the official beer sponsor of Louie’s Last Regatta and the Milwaukee Ale House will once again host our skipper’s meeting on Friday evening.

Do I have to be a member of South Shore Yacht Club to attend the post race celebration?

Do I have to sail in the regatta to fundraise?
No, you do not. The regatta serves two purposes for kids — it raises critical funds to pay for their care and it allows the community to come out in celebration and support of the kids we care for. We are grateful for every gesture of support, fundraising and participation. If you are not interested in sailing the regatta you can either start or join a team to fundraise for the kids and help Louie’s Last Regatta reach our fundraising goal!

Can I raise money online?
