Lumpkin County Football exists to raise up great citizens through a championship football program. Through discipline, teamwork, service, and excellence, we strive to develop student‑athletes who succeed on the field, in the classroom, and in their community. Our Meals to Missions campaign reflects that mission—combining competitive excellence with purposeful service.
Fighting Food Insecurity—Near and Far
As part of this year’s service‑driven campaign, the Lumpkin County Football program will help purchase, pack, and distribute 10,000 nutritious, shelf‑stable meals to families facing food insecurity.
A portion of these meals will be delivered to Harlan, Kentucky, an Appalachian region where many families struggle with persistent food shortages due to economic hardship and limited access to resources. These meals will provide critical, tangible support to individuals and families in need.
The remaining meals will stay right here in our local community, distributed through Community Helping Place, ensuring that families close to home receive nourishment, care, and hope.
Through this effort, our players are learning that championship character means serving others—especially those facing the greatest needs.
