Join ALS United North Carolina on Thursday, September 3, 2026, for Lunch with a Legend, a special fundraising luncheon featuring Stanley Cup Champion and Carolina Hurricanes Head Coach Rod Brind’Amour.

Guests will enjoy a seated luncheon and an inspiring conversation with Rod about leadership, perseverance, teamwork, and the values that have shaped his championship career—both on and off the ice

This one-of-a-kind event will bring together business and community leaders, sports fans, ALS supporters, and families from across North Carolina, all united in making a meaningful difference for people living with ALS.

Proceeds will support ALS United North Carolina’s mission to provide care, equipment, financial assistance, education, advocacy, and hope to individuals and families affected by ALS throughout our state.

Guests will enjoy a seated luncheon, swag, and an inspiring exclusive conversation with Rod about leadership, perseverance, teamwork, and giving your all—on and off the ice.  Meaningful way to entertain clients, engage employees, or gather friends while supporting individuals and families living with ALS across North Carolina.

Donors may choose from three options:

  • Host and fill the table with 10 guests.
  • Donate the full table back to ALS United North Carolina so we can invite people living with ALS and their caregivers.
  • Fill part of your table and donate any remaining seats for ALS patients and caregivers to attend.
    Donating a table or individual seats is a meaningful way to make this special experience accessible to members of our ALS community.
