More About Justin

Justin Willman wants to melt your brain while making you laugh. He's best known as the star and creator of the hit Netflix series Magic for Humans. But you may recognize him from one of his many television appearances (The Tonight Show, The Today Show, Ellen, Conan...). Or maybe you know his work as a host (Cupcake Wars; Halloween Wars; Win, Lose or Draw...). Or maybe he's the child magician you hired in suburban St. Louis in the '90s. If you don't know Justin, he's a magician and comedian who's mastered the art of turning cynics into believers (or at least getting them to laugh). His live show is simultaneously mind-blowing and hilarious, and will likely keep you at night wondering how the heck any of it was possible.

Justin is also a proud father, a loving husband, and has zero experience as a licensed boat mechanic (That's a different Justin Willman).

How Your Support Makes a Difference

Fundraising for the Settlement's Family CARES Center will help provide free, bilingual mental health services to our Settlement community. Now more than ever, addressing the mental health challenges of our youth and families is critical. We all deserve access to quality and supportive mental health care.

Why Are We Placing the Spotlight on Mental Health?

Magic of Giving: A Benefit for the Northwestern Settlement is proud to put the spotlight on the importance of mental health. The Family CARES Center, once again the beneficiary of our fundraiser, provides free, bilingual on-site mental health counseling and family wellness services to members of the Settlement community.

Mental illness affects one in five people, so it is quite likely that everyone reading this has a spouse, a child, a relative, or a friend who has been touched by mental illness. Studies show that the challenges that adults with mental illness face are made more difficult if they are living in poverty.

In this video, Chris Beer, last year's Gala to Go co-chair, explains why the mission of supporting mental health is close to all of us.
