Marietta Football exists to develop young men of character who embody the principle to “Be Somebody.” Through tradition, integrity, competition, and service, the program prepares student‑athletes to succeed on the field and make a positive impact far beyond it.

This Meals to Missions campaign brings that mission to life—uniting families, coaches, and supporters around a shared goal: strengthening our football program while meeting real needs in our community and around the world.

Fighting Food Insecurity—Locally and Globally

As part of this service‑driven campaign, Marietta Football will come together at the conclusion of the fundraiser to pack and distribute 15,000 nutritious, shelf‑stable meals for families facing food insecurity.

• A portion of these meals will support families within Marietta City Schools, helping address food insecurity close to home.
• The remaining meals will be distributed to impoverished communities in Mexico, where access to reliable nutrition is limited, and hunger is a daily reality for many families.

This hands‑on packing experience allows our student‑athletes and families to see the direct impact of their efforts—transforming generosity into action.

Beyond the Meals: Investing in Our Student‑Athletes

While every meal packed makes a tangible difference for families in need, this campaign also plays a critical role in strengthening Marietta Football.

Funds raised through this initiative support essential program needs, including:

• Player safety equipment, including helmets and protective gear
• Uniforms and team gear
• Year‑round nutrition and pre‑game meals
• Weight room equipment and facility improvements
• Additional program needs within the K–12 operational budget

These investments ensure our athletes are equipped to train safely, compete confidently, and grow as accountable leaders on and off the field.
