Team Semper K9 Leads the Way
"Run with Purpose, Finish with Pride"- a phrase often used with Marine Corps Marathon. Run with purpose will take on a continued meaning for me in 2024, as I once again join Team Semper K9 in raising money for their mission, which rescues dogs from shelters and trains them to be service dogs at no cost for disabled service members. In 2022, I had the honor to join their team while honoring my dad and later blessed as part of a recent group of dogs brought into their training, to have one named in his memory. Bubba pays homage to his days of being a season ticket holder for the Devils Rays and the infamous Bubba chant and thus Fan Wall of Fame induction as Bubba Ray.
