Team Semper K9 Leads the Way
As a U.S. Marine Corps combat veteran, running the Marine Corps Marathon holds a special place in my heart. It’s more than just a race—it’s a celebration of resilience, camaraderie, and honoring those who have served.
In 2014, my wife Amanda and I founded Semper K9 Assistance Dogs with a mission to provide life-saving service dogs to veterans with mental health and mobility challenges—all at no cost to them. Each service dog is carefully trained to help veterans navigate daily challenges, regain independence, and find hope again.
Running the 50th Marine Corps Marathon is my way of continuing this mission. This will be my 8th consecutive Marine Corps Marathon, running alongside my fellow Team Semper K9 members for the past 7 years that we have been charity partners. Every step I take is for the veterans we serve, and every dollar raised will directly support our efforts to train and match service dogs with those who need them most.
