Marine Corps Marathon Race Team 2023

Hi Friends and Family--

I'm raising money for the Sarcoma Foundation of America by running the Marine Corps Marathon in October 2023. This charity is near and dear to my heart, as many of you may know. Antoine (my first husband, for those of you who didn't know me then) was diagnosed with a soft tissue sarcoma in 2009 and passed away in 2012 after his cancer returned.

Sarcomas are a rare cancer, primarily affecting children. Because it's a rare cancer, it does not receive a lot of attention or research funding. The Sarcoma Foundation of America works to raise funds and distribute them to medical researchers at institutions throughout the US who are working on treatments for Sarcoma.
