To find a cure and honor my dear Nancy who lost her battle.
I lost my dear wife Nancy on July 31, 2012, after a 13-year battle with sarcoma. We were married 35 years including 25 in which I was in the US Army. She was my rock. She was a wonderful caregiver and mentor to our soldiers and their families. She was Mom to our two beautiful daughters. She was a superb early education teacher. She was a wonderful person with dozens of lifelong friends. Despite her courageous battle, her insidious disease kept recurring and recurring, each time taking a little bit more from her. While I am grateful for those years together, they were incredibly painful and frustrating. When she died, I cursed God and demanded her back. I don't want others to suffer as she did nor other families to endure what we did. I donate regularly to the Sarcoma Foundation of America in her honor to raise much needed funding for research, education and advocacy. It is the only non-profit organization focused on this specific disease. Please support my efforts - donate and share this page!
Thanks! And be grateful for every day.
THANK YOU, DONORS! You will each be on my mind!
