Meals for Minneapolis started ten years ago. Since then, students, staff, and volunteers have packed over 305,000 meals that were delivered to local food shelves. In addition, Maranatha families have connected with family and friends to help raise over $790,000 to further the school's mission of developing co-creators of tomorrow, grounded in Christian faith.
The need for this outreach is more relevant today than ever before. This year, with the help of our students and volunteers, Maranatha has set a goal to pack 60,000 meals for Twin Cities' food shelves and raise $150,000.
In the video above, you can watch our recap of last year's event.
At Maranatha, we pride ourselves on being innovative with a Christ-focused mission. Meals for Minneapolis is our way of involving friends and family of MCA in an amazing outreach and fundraiser for the school.
