Massage therapy can benefit the mind, body, and spirit during cancer treatment. The stress and anxiety associated with cancer treatment can put the body's central nervous system on high alert. Oncology massage uses light touch and slow, steady movements, working with the central nervous system to help the body relax. Oncology massage is a form of non-invasive, compassionate touch. Each massage therapist is experienced with lymphedema and understands how to work around ports and medical devices. Before signing up for a massage session, consult with your doctor to ensure it is suitable for your needs.
To conclude our day, we will set free monarch butterflies, symbolizing our transformation throughout this unique journey we've shared together. Releasing butterflies is a tangible expression of the profound significance of a meaningful occasion. It signifies the recognition of a life lived and the hopeful transition and celebration of an even more beautiful life to come. A butterfly release visually conveys what words cannot express as these indescribable emotions soar on the graceful wings of the butterflies. Their silent flight carries the essence of our souls through the air, connecting all who witness their journey with a special understanding of the event that has unfolded.
