The Millennium Society is a community of diverse, philanthropically-minded women who are improving health care in our community. Membership is open to all women with a passion for supporting Huntsville Hospital, Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children, or Madison Hospital through an annual contribution of at least $1,000. Each year, members vote and choose a hospital department or program to support through their collective donations.
Millennium Society members voted to fund these areas for 2022:
- A $25,000 commitment to the Daisy P. Swinton Scholarship fund which will provide 10 scholarships to existing Huntsville Hospital employees pursuing their nursing degree.
- Two high-tech Vital Sign Machines to take pediatric oxygen stats at the Caring for Life InPatient Hospice Facility
- 12 locking bedside carts for the Pediatric Emergency Department
