- Participate as an individual walker, join a team, or start your own team.

- Donate to support an individual walker, team, or the event itself.

- Volunteer to help with registration, setup, motivating participants, and more.

- Sponsor the Walk to End HIV to support the event and our mission.

Do you offer free transportation to the Walk?

Yes! We've partnered with MetroTransit this year to provide free, roundtrip rides to our Walk at Como Park. To get a free ride pass, simply fill out the rider survey using this link and download your free pass. This pass is redeemable for the full day.

How far do we walk?

The walk starts from the main stage area toward the lake and then wraps back around to the main stage. There will be signage along the path to mark directions. The walk itself is approximately 1.87 miles.

What can I expect on the day of the walk?

Check-in, Walk t-shirt pickup, and day-of registrations begin at 9:00 a.m. at the registration table. The program starts with an opening ceremony with speakers and a light warm-up. The Walk will start and end at the main stage where post-Walk celebrations will begin. The celebration includes food trucks, yoga in the park, and a full lineup of local performers, music, and entertainment.

What should I bring?

Please dress according to the weather. Make sure to bring sunblock if it is sunny, and bring layers to deal with temperature changes. No matter the weather, please wear comfortable shoes.

We will have a free water station, but we encourage you to bring your own water bottle. We will also have food trucks that you may buy lunch from.

Can I bring my dog or pet?

Yes! Pets are absolutely more than welcome. However, please take extra precaution when approaching other dogs due to recent concerns about the community spread of canine influenza.

How do I get there using public transit?

The bus stop that will get you closest to the Walk is Bus Stop #861 - Como Ave & West Picnic Grounds. From there, it's just a 2 minute walk to all the festivities! To map your route, go to MetroTransit.org and use their Trip Planner.

Is there parking?

There are multiple free parking lots near the pavilion. If parking in the East Picnic Grounds parking lot closest to the pavilion, please do not park along the sidewalk; That is where the food trucks will be located.

How can I get my company to match my gift?

Many employers offer programs to match charitable contributions made by their employees. These “matching gifts” are an opportunity to double or possibly triple your donation. If you are not sure if you qualify for a matching gift, please reach out to your HR department or leadership team for more information. If your employer is able to match your donation, you can send your personal fundraising link from your Fundraising Dashboard, where they will be able to make a donation.

I'm having difficulties with registration or my donation, who should I contact?

Please reach out to development@rainbowhealth.org with a description of the difficulty you are experiencing so we can walk you through possible solutions.
