Mobile Food Pantry - June 2021

ATTENTION:  VETERANS, MILITARY FAMILIES & RESIDENTS

Please join Combined Arms & Travis Manion Foundation for the JUNE Mobile Food Pantry. 

Veterans and families can swing by for food to take home, delivered by Houston Food Bank.

IN ADDITION: the VA Houston will be providing vaccines for veterans, their families, and caretakers.

There is a disparity in minority populations in underserved communities and hesitancy towards the vaccine. The CDC reporting 12% of total vaccinations being Hispanic, 9% African-American, and 5% Asian in comparison to 64% white. There are around 445,000 minority veterans in Texas and Combined Arms is working to better partner with member organizations to encourage vaccine equity. It's our goal to get these more at-risk populations connected to the wealth of resources offered by the "no wrong door" system that Combined Arms coordinates.

Please join an in-depth training on
Accelerated Resolution Therapy & SAF-T.  Issues to include the origin of ART, research completed and current research in process, what mental health issues ART may help, how ART impacts the brain, how to optimize safer use of ART during this covid crisis, defining SAF-T and how, and with whom, it can be utilized.
