I have lived with Crohns disease for ten years. I struggle with purpose and want to support a cause important to me.
I have lived with Crohn's disease for the past ten years of my life. This disease has been incredibly hard on my physically, mentally and socially. It has also been incredibly difficult for my family and friends who have been with me along the way. I am currently at a place where I am stable, even in remission I struggle to find the energy to do many of the things I want to do. I struggle with purpose a lot, this disease has limited my ability to pursue a career and advance my education. One thing I could do is tell my story, maybe someone could find it useful in their moment of struggle, maybe someone can find some perspective from it, maybe I can motivate people to take a moment to think of the things they are grateful for and maybe I can help raise money for a good cause. I am usually not shy to talk about my illness but this has been difficult for me. I am a very reserved person and to put myself out there like this is a lot. I am proud of myself for what I've been able to make it through and for starting to share in detail what I've had to endure. I hope whoever has watched my videos and made it to this page can appreciate the beauty of my story and the magnitude of what I've had to overcome and help support a cause to try and make it so nobody has to go through what I did in the future. Thank you for every one who takes the time to watch my story, to everyone who donates, and to everyone who cares about me.
