In celebration of Sarcoma Awareness Month, the Sarcoma Foundation of America invites you to join us to be a part of the National Race to Cure Sarcoma Virtual event on July 25, 2020. July is so important because the entire month is dedicated to those who have been touched by sarcoma. During Sarcoma Awareness Month, we aim to further highlight the extraordinary challenges that sarcoma patients face and the need for more sarcoma research and better sarcoma therapies. Each person in the sarcoma community has the power to make an impact and help increase awareness for this relentless cancer. Although we are all miles apart, we are connected though the drive to find a cure for this disease. Join us as we virtually gather together near and far to raise awareness and dollars in hope to find a cure for sarcoma.

We increased our goal! Since we have had more people come out and support us than anticipated, we have decided to increase our goal in hopes to make a larger impact. Thank you for your continued support!

What is the National Race to Cure Sarcoma Virtual event? It is a Race to Cure Sarcoma 5K event that you can run or walk from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track (or even at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. You can run or walk on your own or with friends!

Why should I join? By joining this virtual race you will help raise awareness and funds for sarcoma research. Just think, on the same day at the same time you will be part of a nationwide effort to find a cure for sarcoma. Everyone can participate regardless of age, health, or ability to travel to specific locations.

Spread the word! Have your friends and family join you in this virtual race. Create a fundraising team and challenge each other to hit your goals. Share your efforts on social media and use the hashtag #NationalRTCSVirtual to connect with others who are racing all across the nation.

How do I register? Registration is easy! Click the registration button and sign up using social media or email. Registration is $35 which gives you great RTCS Swag including a National Virtual RTCS Tshirt, wristband and a bib. All your #NationalRTCSVirtual gear will be mailed to the address you use to register and you should receive them the week of July 20th.
