FAQs
Did we have to order and pay for their t-shirt?
No - the WALK t-shirts are a long-standing tradition and are complimentary to all students and staff. Generous donations from local sponsors help cover the cost of over 900 shirts for everyone to wear on WALK day!
How long do our student(s) have to fundraise?
All funds are due by Friday, 10/7 at Midnight. That gives them almost 3 weeks to fundraise and try to reach their goal of $225.
How can I help as a parent?
Help & encourage your Roadrunner to fundraise! Make some suggestions of family members, friends, neighbors or co-workers that they can reach out to and ask for support for their high school and to help them meet their goal. There will be multiple drawings to win prizes for students who have registered, raised funds, and met their individual goal of $225.
Even if family members or friends donate to my student's personal WALK fundraising page, can that apply to our family's Parent Pledge?
Absolutely! Our Database Manager will carefully track what money is donated to each student's page and track it in our database and apply it to your Parent Pledge.
