PGA HOPE, Helping Our Patriots Everywhere, affords veterans throughout the south Florida community an opportunity to learn the game of golf at zero cost to them. Learning and playing the game of golf is a proven activity which has helped thousands of veterans assimilate into their community through the social interaction the game of golf provides. It is welcoming to veterans with disabilities, enhancing their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being.
The South Florida PGA Foundation has conducted over 675 hours of PGA HOPE programming and has impacted the lives of over 1,000 local veterans!
Our main goal is to not only provide programming for 6-weeks, but to continue offering various golfing opportunities that will help them reap the benefits the game has to offer, including physical, mental, social and emotional support.
