We are the NALC, and we are “Veterans Helping Veterans”! Veterans of the National Association of Letter Carriers make-up almost a quarter of the membership. These members are active NALC members as well as retired members. The group provides Veteran members access to the information and tools specific to Veterans’ rights and benefits within the U.S. Postal Service.
Every two years at the NALC National Convention, the Veterans Group organizes a project to help local Veterans facing or at risk of homelessness. NECHV
The Mission of the New England Center and Home for Veterans (NECHV) is to equip Veterans who are facing or at-risk of homelessness with the tools for economic self-sufficiency and to provide them a path to achieve successful and dignified independent living. A service and care provider for former military service men and women, the NECHV offers a broad array of programs and services that enable success, reintegration, meaningful employment and independent living. https://nechv.org/
