Kiss a Pig Northwest Arkansas supporting American Diabetes Association®

As an advocate for wellness, Lynn wants to empower people on their journey to health. Growing up, she watched her uncle struggling with shots and medications to regulate his blood sugar. He suffered from partial brain damage, which affected his health in profound ways - he had diabetes, epilepsy and eventually, dementia. He spent time living with her family and in assisted living and finally succumbed to his ailments in his 60s. Her parents helped in every way they could, like fighting with Medicare to pay for his medications anytime the doctor made a change in dosage or type of meds.
Lynn has over 20 teachers who work for her and one has been with her since she was 19 years old. She's like her "yoga daughter." This teacher has a young daughter, Norah, who was experiencing behavioral issues that were puzzling everyone. Turns out, her daughter had type 1 diabetes and when her sugar crashed, she acted out, and rightfully so. Once they finally had her diagnosis, they realized a pump and insulin costs were incredibly high, but 100% necessary for Norah to live.
