I am running the 2022 NYC Marathon with Team Boomer in honor of my patients, their families, and the strong community they have built.
I am a pediatric genetic counselor and work closely with patients and their families who have been newly diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. I have learned that the strength of the CF community is just as important as the strength of the treatments so I have decided to support Team Boomer and the Boomer Esiason Foundation during this year’s NYC marathon. The money raised by Team Boomer helps fund scholarships, transplant grants, disaster relief program, and a number of educational resources.
